Because there's been a bit of internal debate in Orble over how to best help other bloggers gain more attention, I have here opened up nominations for the best post of 2006. Nominate a post by commenting and leaving a link here, or by PMing me. Winners will be announced in the New year.
Nominations can be from any Blog, anywhere, not just in Orble, so Livejournalers, Bloggerers, Deadjournalers, Myspacers, Michael Moore and Moby (if you're listening), come in and have a shot.

Apart from any of mine (especially my treatises on my own humility designed to educate the ignorant about what true humility is and how I, myself, personally, the me who is me, puts humility into practice in such an exquisite and educational manner) *wicked smirk,
I would have to write:

I honestly think the woman who posted ‘My cunt, my cunt, my cunt post,’ by a country mile. Seriously, I thought that when I opened up that post, I expected to find something completely different inside, but it was one of the most amazing pieces of educational prose I have ever read in my life. It was the best exposition of that word I have ever read. That woman has a mind-and-a-half. Pity the post didn’t have any pics. I wanted to send that post to every sexist man that ever existed (after reading it properly myself). I’d go as far as to say that her post changed my opinion on a couple of things. There’s only one other woman I know who has been able to do that. To me, that was just educational brilliance. Writing excellence. Superb. Sublime writing skills. Such profundity of thought, expressed so succinctly. What a writer that woman is. I honestly thought it was going to be some sick post by some sick sexist bitch whingeing about man-hating like most of the bitches do. And fuck I hate sick shit, and sexism. But seriously. Best post. Most memorable. Best Written as well, easily. No wonder my pubic hair fetish has turned into a cunt fetish. I now know that there is only one way to use that word. And that to use that word is not wrong, unless it is used wrongly. I know now I can say you have a beautiful cunt to a woman, but not use that word disparagingly or degradingly. Best Post. Best Written.

Any bitchfight on Orble. Nothing like a good bit of literary bitch-slapping. People expressing their virtual hatred of virtual people they have only virtually met, in a virtual community, intense hatred that comes out on the page as virtually real, especially when you’re into subtext like I am. Too many to choose from. The ones on mindorgasms would take some beating. That David my David character? What a c … cocksucker.
