What are Wordles?
Wordles, also known as Dingbats, are word puzzles designed to be decoded. They can be at all different levels of complexity.

WORDLES FOR KIDS
CAT WORDLES
How Can I do them?
Wordles are essentially puzzles. What is required is a great deal of lateral thinking. Most wordles are written on small squares of paper. Luckily for you this limits the number of tricks that can be played. Anything that is apparent in the picture is relevant. Try looking at the use of space, colour, size, juxtaposition, angle, colour.
Some Common Tricks. Numbers of words – “Tired Tired” could be Too (2) Tired.
Space use – You might see “Upper Management” at the top of the square, “Get Down” at the bottom or even “Outer Space” on the outside of the square.
Colour; E Might be ready… “E anything anything anything anything” might be Ready for anything. Lots of Wordles combine these techniques.
Size. BIRD might be Big bird. Bo Peep might be little Bo Peep.
Other tricky things… for example half words, words in words; AtFranksra is a favorite of mine – Franks in Atra (Frank Sinatra)
